5 reasons not to be worried before Breast Augmentation
Dr. Paul Nistor
Having surgery is understandably an unsettling experience. It is absolutely normal to be anxious when you know that you are going to undergo anesthesia and have surgery, especially on the breasts.
We understand. It's normal to be anxious with such a big change.
The first thing to reduce your anxiety is to be informed. We are here to clear your doubts and explain why you should not be nervous about breast augmentation.
1. Risks are rare
Complications or risks of any kind are incredibly rare with breast augmentation. The procedure is very common and most plastic surgeons have years of experience with this procedure.
The risk of suffering a complication such as bleeding or infection is estimated to be around 2%. During a standard procedure, the risk of a complication is almost 0.
2. Returning home on the day of surgery
The operation is carried out under maximum safety at Pelican HOSPITAL Oradea, you can go home the next day, but you will need a carer to drive you. You cannot drive a car, ideally 6 weeks when the breast implant is placed under the muscle or 2 weeks when the breast implant is placed over the muscle or subfascial.
In the comfort of your own home, you'll begin healing with a bandage, elastic bandage, or supportive bra to minimize swelling or edema, inflammation, and provide support for your new breasts.
3. General anesthesia is safe
General anesthesia is required during a breast augmentation procedure, which can be a source of concern for some patients. But anesthesia is incredibly safe
At our plastic surgery center, all experienced anesthesiologists will provide you with confidence and support that will help you complete the procedure safely and effectively. If you have any further questions about general anesthesia, consult your primary care physician, discuss your overall health, and get cleared for surgery.
4. Get natural looking breasts
A hesitation that some patients have when considering breast augmentation is that their bust will look too large or unnatural. Dr. Paul Nistor understands that not everyone wants a significantly larger breast, some patients may just want to achieve uniformity or eliminate breast sagging with a breast lift.
If you choose the right plastic surgeon, you will experience a thorough consultation and a clear understanding of what needs to be done to pursue your goals. An experienced plastic surgeon will know exactly how to choose the best implant shape and size to suit your body type and preferences to ensure your new bust looks natural.
5. Maintain your lifestyle
Changing active lifestyles is often a concern for athletic women. They are concerned that breast implants may affect their activity level or require them to change their exercise routine. This is only true while you are in the healing process, but breast implants, once you are fully recovered, will have no effect on your lifestyle. You don't have to worry about having to interrupt your favorite sports, hobbies or recreational activities.
If you've been thinking about breast augmentation, now is the time to schedule a consultation with a surgeon who specializes in breast surgery, Dr. Paul Nistor.
Our experienced staff can help you decide if breast augmentation is right for you. and can answer any additional questions you may have about breast implants, breast lifts, and even breast reduction.
Breast augmentation is a personal decision, one that should be made for you, not to fulfill someone else's wishes or to fit any kind of ideal image. We take the time to listen and answer any questions you may have before the procedure.
Breast augmentation can change the size and shape of your breasts. Surgery can improve your body image and self-esteem. But keep your expectations realistic and don't expect perfection.
Also, your breasts will continue to age after augmentation. Weight gain or loss could also change the way your breasts look. If you become dissatisfied with the appearance of your breasts, you may need more surgery to correct these problems.
